AlexandraY: “Steak, shrimp, icy cold martinis…oh and lots of kisses…chocolate ones too.”
YUMMMM….that sound darn good right now! =) Although if I had one martini, I would be on the floor passed out! LOL!! Anywho…email me at brendaleann@gmail.com to claim your prizes!
And for all of you that are interested in purchasing some actions or the texture pack…you guys are getting 20% off. Just Paypal me directly to gdann@centurytel.net with the discounted total. Make sure you list what actions you want or if you want the texture pack in the instruction box. Sale ends Sunday (Jan. 31st) at 7:00 p.m. CST and you must make a mininum purchase of $12.00 (before the discount is applied).
Although I won’t pass up some good chocolate (or candy for that matter), I think my favorite Valentine’s treat are flowers…basically any kind, but I’m a bit more partial to tulips. The good thing about flowers is you can’t pack on the pounds with them! LOL!! I saw these pretty gerber daisies while I was getting groceries the other day and couldn’t resist buying them. I used the reverse macro technique for these shots and a couple of my textues and actions all mixed together. =)

Thanks everyone for playing…have a fantastic weekend!

please make sure that your paypal email is the correct email to send the actions and/or textures too. If it isn’t the same, please make sure you contact me and let me know what email address to send them too. I’ve had a couple lately that have bounced back so if you recently purchased something and haven’t received it, it’s because the email address that I had isn’t working.
thanks,
Bren

So, you guys know I LOVE to experiment in Photoshop. Actually that’s how I learned so much stuff…when I started out, I only have Photoshop 5.5 and it didn’t support actions so in order for me to try all the awesome processing I was seeing, I had to attempt it myself. I cursed it to no end but it was a blessing in disguise because it taught me to get comfortable with PS and learn.
So, I took my normal actions and processing a photos with it. Here it is with just a quick color boost run:

Now here it is with my urban processing action ran on it:

This is the result when I changed the urban processing layer mode from Normal to Luminosity (you can see the little difference it in…the yellow is duller and it’s a tad overall brighter):

And here, I lowered the urban processing layer to 31% (kept it at Luminosity), added my orange dull layer action, deleted the bright layer, lowered the dull layer to 50% and again changed the layer mode from Normal to Luminosity….it really pumped up the colors:

It’s not HUGE changes but as you can see, it does make a difference. Definitely play around with your actions…you can get lots of different looks from them just by changing the layer mode. =)
